    This spacious home features a large living room, a dining room that seats 8, a family style kitchen, bonus room with washer/dryer and air hockey, front and back deck for full views of Mt. Great for a calm getaway

Great little house for our winter getaway. Beds were a bit firm for me and the wife kids had no problems with them. That was our only gripe and it’s just a personal preference. Didn’t put a damper on our stay though as it was nothing a hot shower in the morning couldn’t take care of. Quaint little house in a quiet neighborhood.

Very spacious, very clean, sheets and towels very course, lots of extra supplies. TV lacked correct control and was unusable as was the streaming service.

Another great stay in McCloud

We have made the Mountain House our HQ for annual fall fly fishing trips repeatedly. Why? The house is clean and comfy, with a laundry room that’s perfect for drying wet fishing gear, it’s conveniently located near some of the best fly fishing in California, McCloud has some great eating options, and the property manager is extremely flexible and responsive. We’ll be back!

Charming home!

Excellent time staying with family and 2 dogs. The home was delightful and well appointed in a quiet neighborhood. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattresses or at the very least add a medium thickness foam pad. This is simply a matter of taste and my daughter and I are picky about quality mattresses. My son slept in the back room and was fine, yet he is an avid outdoorsman and could sleep fine on the sidewalk. My daughter is disabled and I am 70 yrs old...so it is just a matter of preference. The home and hosts are wonderful. The Mountain House is warm and cozy with everything you could possibly want and more. Obviously a lot of love put into this sweet home. We loved and appreciated it. Thank you so much!
