"The staff made checking in and checking out a quick and efficient process. The room was very clean. Unlike some hotels I have been in there was no perceptible odor in the room. Accessing the room was easy. Amenities are basic. The motel has no swimming pool or gym for guests to use. There is also no restaurant. But the White Spot next door gives a 10% to guests. Overall, I thought it was a good motel."
"Nice large suite with a king bed and kitchenette (with stovetop and oven).
Portable ac unit in bedroom and living area but they’re VERY loud. Luckily it wasn’t hot during our stay so we rarely used it.
Wish they had sheers for privacy while still letting light in. Screens on sliding doors would be a nice to keep flies out.
Our room was near the stairwell and that door slams so loudly (so do the suite entry doors). I understand they are automatic doors and there’s fire code etc but just letting you know it gets loud with all the slamming.
Free EV (level 1 and you need to supply your own cord) and free laundry (bring your own soap/dryer sheets or buy from hotel)- these are great offerings to guests.
The Cook and Butcher restaurant is fab, so is True Grain Bakery nearby.
All in all it was a great stay!"
"The room was immaculate. The layout was exactly what I wanted. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant attached to hotel was convenient. Close by ferry to Victoria. A great place to stay in the south part of the city."
"Excellent service. Friendly and knowledgeable innkeeper. Complimentary beverages and good local recommendations. Renovated room was wonderful. Will stay again."
