"This was the perfect location in Merida. It was walking distance to all central activities and restaurants. The staff were very helpful. The building was older but public areas were very nice. We had two connecting rooms with a living room which was very convenient. As with any older property there were some quirks but overall it was a great place. "

"We absolutely loved our time in Merida and staying at the CIGNO Hotel was perfect for us. A little removed from the Centro of town but easily walkable and completely safe, day or night. The hotel was absolutely lovely. 10 spacious rooms, excellent staff and food. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and had two dinners as well. The margaritas are exceptional. The entire staff is pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again while visiting Merida!! "
