"Everything in this Hacienda was so amazing, of course when you are in so much nature you have to get used to bugs and everything nature brings you. Food was amazing!! Congrats to the chef! We ran into some issues of electricity in our cenote tour and they were not prepared for it; this is the only issue we ran into."

My sister and I stayed here for two nights in late October and really enjoyed our stay.
Koox Casa de las Palomas was a great haven away from the hot and humid conditions of Merida itself.
The hotel is located an easy 10 minute walk from the main square, with a funky cantina about 100m away call La Negrita, it was full of locals when we went there on both occasions, which was great. There are also other restaurants on your way to the main square, which we also enjoyed eating at.

Lovely colonial hotel in the centre of Merida with nice flair and great atmosphere
Had a top floor room which was very quiet. (no lift, but you can request ground floor rooms) which was very spacious, had a kitchen and nice bath room. Very comfortable bed.
Freshly cooked to order Mexican Breakfast, coffee, tea, juice and some fruit.
Lovely small pool, great to chill a bit after a day of sightseeing.
