"We had the best stay, staff was very helpful and friendly, the food very good. The only improvement should be on the room’s curtains, the space with the single bed didn’t have any curtain and the ones in the main room were not very light proofed."

"Delightful, historical inn right next to Clark Island Preserve. Lovely wee walks on the shore and to the old quarry. Minimal light pollution at night allows for terrific stargazing. Rooms are on the small side, but thoughtfully designed. Included breakfast was delicious, with fresh made biscuits and a nice selection of offerings. Only slight negative is the slow WiFi, but maybe it's okay to take a break from streaming and read a book!"

"Our family had a wonderful time at this property! 4 comfortable, private bedrooms for the 8 of us. A kitchen big enough for 4 cooks! A peninsula with 10 stools, and a large table to gather around. (We all want stainless steel counters in our kitchens now!) Port Clyde is a little off the beaten path, but we feel so lucky that we discovered this property! We loved to come back to the views, and the calm of the house after our sightseeing days to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Booth Bay and Brunswick. The Monhegan Boat Co. tours (within walking distance) and Marshall Point Lighthouse ( a quick 10 minute drive) are must sees. What a great experience for our first time in Maine! Thank you!"
