Beautiful old maine home..rustic and so comfy.Very clean, cozy, ocean side home…. Everything you need for a short or long stay.. Enjoyed the area and of course the great fire pit area. Such a warm and cozy home, even at less than 20degrees:) loved our long stay and would recommend it to anyone that wants a beautiful place to vacation..

Wonderfully, charming cottage! The house had ample beds and spaces to sit and read or watch TV. Deck is spacious and there is a spot to build a fire. Close walk to a cute little lighthouse and up the street from the Owls head general store! House was comfortable and we’ll be sure to return when we are back in the area!

Picturesque Owls Head!

Beautiful property on level grassy lawn about 1/4 mile from the Owls Head General store and Lobster Pound. House has that old Maine camp feel but very charming. Nice large deck for enjoying reading and taking in the setting. Large living room, dbl bedroom downstairs and 2 good sized bedrooms on the second floor. We enjoyed biking and walking around the area. It's an easy walk to the Owls Head Lighthouse, great location. Thanks so much to owners for a fun stay!!

Quiet time

This was what I was looking for . Quiet , simple , clean . Might not be everyone’s cup of tea . Cellphone coverage was spotty . Not for the vertically advantaged, ceilings are low . Check-in directions did not match up with the property, my inquiry to the owner was unanswered, I figured it out, some people might get upset/confused, if arriving at night/in the dark could have been a problem .

Family time on the coast

The cottage was in a beautiful location, fully furnished with everything we needed and had more room than we needed!! We enjoyed spending time in Rockland and Camden. Would definitely recommend for a quiet, relaxing retreat.

This house is like going to grandmas. It was so charming. It was clean and the location is perfect. The only thing that might be a negative to someone is the bathroom is upstairs which was not an issue for us at all. I would definitely recommend.

Wonderful property for a quiet retreat. Comfortable living room and great outdoor space on both the deck and around the fire pit. Remodeled bathroom has large shower. Short but sweet

Stayed just for an overnight, but it was super relaxing. We (family of 5) all had room to stretch and relax after a long drive. Location was great and right down the street from the lighthouse and the Harbor Park. Inside was extremely cozy and cute. Only issue was where to put our trash on the way out, but the owners were quick to respond to my question and it was an easy fix. Thanks for having us.

owls head vacation

Great location if your looking for seafood, lobster facility across street that will sell lobsters right off the boat, very quiet street, lots of seafood restaurants all around, light house adventures one on the same road as this home. The only downfall about this property is there is only 1 bathroom and its on the second floor with bedrooms other than that it was fantastic, also transportation museum on route 73 about 4 miles from home lots to see there also. It is and older home with a huge yard to play games in we played jarts and bocce had a great time with grandchildren.

Very cute place!

The pictures are accurate and this place is lovely. Owners were very quick to respond to communication, and I didn’t have any problems during my visit, but if I had, it was nice to know they were on top of the correspondence. The only thing I would mention is that the bathroom is on the second floor and the shower door can be difficult to open, so if someone in your group has mobility issues, this might not be the place for you.
