"Lovely setting, uncomfortable room, terrible breakfast. Old motel set in pretty garden on a marsh, so can be buggy. Offers kayaks but only useful at high tide. Our room was on the terrace level so dank, low-ceiling, dark. Even the sheets were damp. A humidifier wasn't working. Walls thin: could hear footsteps from above and loud voices from next door. Lacked such basics as a night light in the bathroom, and reading lamps and end tables on both sides of the bed. Breakfast only processed...
"The room was fine and clean. Food wasn’t great and there is no service. It’s a comfortable place to spend the night, which is all we did, but don’t expect anything else."
