"Our stay at the Shore Haven Inn was wonderful and relaxing. Breakfast was well prepared and extensive. The rooms were well maintained and cleaned and the staff were always readily available and very helpful. "My family and I enjoyed our 1 week stay in Mashpee. The property is an adorable cottage, located very close to the ocean (a short walk from the front of the property to the ocean)! There are great running paths and there is a nearby country club for golf as well as a gathering area offering restaurants, shopping, put-put and (in the evenings) music. The property is 30min from Woods Hole- perfect for a ferry ride to Martha's Vineyard. However, you don't have to go that far to enjoy the ocean breeze and cute, nearby restaurants."

"The host has provided lots of extras to make the stay very pleasant. I wish that we had time to use the bicycles in the garage. But the two beach chairs were very nice. Comfortable living area. Lots of stairs to the upstairs bedrooms, so not for the elderly!Very convenient to Mashpee Commons. I only had one problem- connecting to the TV. I followed the instructions, but i am not tech savvy. It worked one night. Then Netflix is easier."

"This is a nice unit closer to the beach in Maushop Village. This neighborhood is part of a large planned development, New Seabury, on the coast between Falmouth and Hyannis. Maushop Village has the only beach access in New Seabury. It is a quaint neighborhood of reproduction Nantucket style attached cottages. The beach is good but is experiencing an erosion problem. You can walk to the New Seabury marketplace which has two very good seafood restaurants. The unit is comfortable and in very good shape. Unfortunately, we had the worst arrival experience in a long history of using short term rentals. There was no key in the lockbox. I messaged the owner and got a fairly quick response (10 minutes?). He said he would send his agent over to the property. The agent arrived pretty quickly and gave us a key. Neither offered any regrets or a word of sympathy. The key issue was not the only problem. There was a substantial amount of sand on the floor inside the door and a popsicle stick was sitting in a puddle of melted popsicle on a side table in the living room. We used the vacuum cleaner which didn't seem to have been emptied in a long time. There were also someone's clothes left in the dryer.The dryer controls don't work and you have to use a pair of plyers to make your best effort at selecting a dryer setting. The dial on the washer seems like it is not long for the same result. FYI: as listing says, basic soap only -- bring your own bath toiletries."
