"Breakfast is included for all the hotel guests which was really nice. yoghurt, fruit, pastries, coffee, tea, juice, oat and etc hot meals available to order for additional fee. Hotel is 9 minutes drive to town center. Rooms are so very lovely, we stayed in two rooms and they were both great, spacious, fully equiped. large outdoor and i door space for drinks and foods. also, this is a perfect stay for family with pets. staffs are professional, friendly and helpful."

"The track leading to the cottage is bumpy and full of potholes, checking in was easy - just a case of opening the key safe.First impressions were that it was as advertised (albeit slightly smaller than envisaged) with everything that you would need for a short break. However as our stay continued we noticed several issues:General maintenance of the building is poor, it needs painting internally throughout, the wooden panel under the oven door needs replacing, both the bathroom window (unable to open) and the french doors (very difficult to open) leading to the hot tub had visible gaps at the top of the frames. I think it should be closed for a week or so and refurbished. There were broken tiles next to the shower enclosure in the bathroom, the shower door had large gaps either side, we were unable to work out how to operate the smaller hand held shower head and water barely dribbled out of the larger 'rainfall' style one.Regarding the bedrooms I would get rid of the scatter cushions and sequined bed runners - both are unhygienic. We found the mattresses and pillows hard and the duvets heavy but then that is personal choice.Daylight floods the property first thing due to poorly fitting / no curtains.Small drain in the floor in the lounge?Too many 'nick nacks' (dress makers mannequin, bowls on windowsills etc.) Hot tub was great although there was quite a lot of traffic noise from the A3400 which proved difficult to pull out onto as the cars are doing 50mph."

"This is a very spacious excellently designed and equipped house that very comfortably accommodated 4 adults The grounds and setting are fabulous with ample outdoor furniture and a gas bbq The hosts were very friendly and helpful and Bertie the dog was the icing on the cake!"

"Comfort ? better sofa and smart able tvs. Beds were nice. Lodge clean on arrival but the smell from the main bathroom was horrible sulphur smell (reported not fixed). Damaged and mark photos sent to reception on arrival so not held against us. Kitchen had enough plates etc, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. Some more utensils would be useful. Chairs in lounge very very uncomfortable they need replacing. Bath is tiny"

"Great lodge, well equipped kitchen, lovely luxurious bathroom. TV a bit big for the size of the lounge area. Quite rainy weather for our break so the covered deck with the star lights in the roof was much appreciated when using our hot tub!"
