"A repeat of my earlier review to prove I genuinely did like it so much that I booked a second week!!!!An absolutely charming property in a beautiful location. We feel so fortunate to have stayed here — and indeed liked it so much we extended our stay! The barn conversion is stunning. The interior design is the perfect marriage of form and function. And the hosts are incredibly kind and helpful. This is the perfect country retreat if you want to curl up with a book by a log fire. The kitchen is a delight to cook in — and there's Ingham's Farm Shop nearby for deluxe supplies! And there's lots to do in the surrounding area for those seeking adventure. This is an absolute hidden gem. Would highly recommend."

"Everything about our experience has been horrible. The house reeked of cat urine. It was so bad that we could only stand to be in there a few minutes. It also had not been cleaned properly with grease and grime all over the kitchen, the smoke detectors had been removed, the exterior/yard was just mud and creepy old sheds. We could not stay there and ended up booking rooms at a nearby inn and then moving to another nearby rental. We complained immediately to the property manager and they did not respond. The next day they said I had to provide photographic evidence. So we went back to take pictures of the grime, but I can't photograph how badly it smelled. This absolutely ruined our Christmas travels and I am now fighting to get thousands of dollars back. They are now accusing us of actually staying there even though I had provided receipts from the inn and the other rental that I booked. "
