"The house was wonderful and the host was super responsive. We loved the outdoor kitchen, the pool, and the games. We had my family of 7 staying in the house ranging in age from 11-74. Across the canal, my brother, SIL, and her parents rented a two bedroom. It was a great set up for us. We loved visiting Robbie’s, the turtle hospital, dolphin research center, the 7 mile bridge, key west, boat rides, and more. We saw a ton of marine life in the area which was really cool. The location wasn’t my favorite (no view) but we would definitely rent again. The butting bugs were really bad though and we think it is in part due to all of the organic/marine debris a couple doors down as well as the open/undeveloped space nearby. All of the canal debris would get caught up in the boat too. Nothing we couldn’t handle, but it was slow going until you got through it. The airport noise was also a lot (not at night thankfully) but it was Thanksgiving week so it was likely higher than normal. We did have to purchase more paper products. I know there is a starter kit, but it would be helpful if more was provided. In general though we had a great time and enjoyed the house and the keys. Thank you!!"

"We spend Thanksgiving in Marathon each year and as our families grow, so do our needs. Fishing/boating is central to our trip but November seas are fickle. This year, the heated pool saved the week! The house is well-equipped for children of all ages. The kitchen was stocked well enough to prepare and serve Thanksgiving dinner. We loved the direct access to the ocean but note, it’s a narrow canal. We don’t have a bow thruster and turning a boat around longer than 30’ can be tricky in the wind. Patience is required Overall great experience. "

"The house was at the perfect location right on the water in the middle of the keys. It was a close drive in any direction. Juan was great at communicating and getting us information that we needed quickly. I love the equipment in the basement. There’s kayaks and paddle boards that I used often. This house suited our needs. "
