Mapua stay
Kathy was very helpful and really enjoyed talking with her. The location was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and wharf. Kathy even provided us with Frojies( an Apple/pear type fruit). I would definitely go back .

Lovely hideaway
We enjoyed Kathy's hospitality. The wharf is nearby and has some small shops and food vendors/restaurants. A ferry to Rabbit Island and bike ride is a nice way to see the beach. Close enough to Abel Tasman for a day trip. The studio is large, well set-up and very peaceful.

Lovely wee place. Very comfortable and great location. Brilliant shower and loved the wee fire to take the chill of at night. Very sunny and bright. Nice and private.

Great place to stay
This is a lovely quiet studio in a fabulous location just minutes walk away from the sea and cafes and shops. We visited in winter and the wood burner made this tastefully decorated studio the cosiest of places to stay. We liked it so much in Mapua that we decided to stay longer and since the studio was booked we were offered another property run by the same owner. This was a large 2 bedroom fully kitted out house, also nicely and comfortably furnished, again with a wood burner. There was heaps of firewood provided and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. We loved our time so much we think we might move here!

Perfect for some R&R
We stayed 7 nights. The Studio is modern, comfy bed, great shower, cosy, warm, private and quiet, just what we wanted and needed. Close to Mapua shops. Kathy is welcoming and the perfect host. HIghly recommended.

Fabulous!
A wee gem, cannot recommend Kathy’s studio enough, even better than the photos, a tranquil paradise with amazingly comfy bed and a shower to die for, absolutely loved our stay, we will definitely be back.

Fabulous wee cottage in Mapua
Brilliant. A wonderful location in walking distance to the Mapua wharf restaurants and bars and the ferry. The cottage itself was beautiful - gorgeous decor, well equipped and with a few lovely extras.

The property itself is very nice, private and everything supplied. The property manager is there if you need anything, but not in your face. Ideal area to explore if you're into wine! :)

Perfect Mapua Retreat
Enjoyed 5 days in this studio which had everything we needed. Peacefully decorated with flowers all around. Spent time in the patio through the day when not out experiencing Nelson and lit the prepared fire at night. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Would recommend and hope to be back😃

Fabulous studio in a great location only minutes from the Wharf. Stylishly decorated with a woodburner and lovely deck area It was also great to gave use of the bikes Kathy was great and really has an eye for detail

The studio was well appointed, a nice size and very clean. There is a lovely little private deck which is a lovely sun trap during the day. Kathy was very welcoming, all this and just a few minutes walk from Mapua Wharf. Spoilt for choice with places to eat in walking distance and a nice walk back down by the water. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A dear little oasis that was very comfortably and tastefully displayed. We were longing for a night chilly enough to light that sweet fire but it never happened 😪 Thank you Kathy

Great value for money in the heart of Mapua
Perfect location for exploring Nelson/Tasman. Walking distance to Mapua Wharf, loved being able to use bikes to get around as well. The accommodation is cozy, yet modern, right little beachy feel with everything you could possibly need. Nice private outdoor seating area. Very quiet.

The best Bach of our whole vacation!
What an adorable Studio. My husband and I loved every detail. A new construction space with amazing decorating style. We felt very pampered by the great host Kathy! The short walk to the wonderful wharf area of Mapua with coffee shop, brewery, fresh fruit and veg, and excellent restaurants was great. Highly recommend this Bach and Mapua for any relaxing holiday away!

Wonderful studio!
Amazing place from where you can visit Abel Tasman and a lot of other places. It’s designed so well, it has this wonderful feeling where you feel home as soon as you walk in. It has everything and both the bed and shower are so comfy!!! Kathy was very nice and helpful! We loved staying!
