"Very pleasant place to stay to relax and unwind away from town for a few days. Lots of places to fish near by. Recommend to others that want to unwind, read a book, write and spend quality time with family.Kitchen nicely stocked for cooking. "
"We really enjoyed our stay in one of the small cabins. Inside was comfy- the bed and pillow very comfortable. The bunk beds were really nice and comfy for the kids. Everything was clean. Convient and water kettle for tea/coffee with some drink packets and can opened provided. Small fridge that fit more than I expected, and a microwave. Heater and AC inside- we used the heater and it worked well. The campground is set up nicely. They’ve got nice chairs around every fire pit, a dish washing station with cooking pans and utensils, plenty of benches, a BBQ at every site, clean towels in the cabin with a hamper in the shower area to deposit your used towels. Shower worked well and bathroom was convenient, spacious and comfortable. Everything was a short walk away while also being spacious. Enjoyed the little trail to the waterfall- kids loved it! Even was a bench at the waterfall to sit and eat and enjoy! Beautiful small lake. Rocking chairs that my kids really enjoyed. A fun variety of bell tents, teepees, yurts, & camp spots. A fun and spacious kids area with a toy shed, volleyball net where my kids played w the toys in the sand, a climbing dome, a large white tent they played under, and plenty of chairs/tables and benches. We can’t wait to come again and try a different spot to stay! "

"This was such a great place, one of our favorites cabins ever. Beautiful place back in the woods and a short drive to Lassen NP. Great little amenities that made us feel right at home...we loved the attention to detail with the small little snacks and such. There is a convenience store in Shingletown that has basic supplies, also a cafe at Manzanita Lake. Thanks!"
"A lovely pet friendly stay very close to Lassen NP. This was the most well stick kitchen I have seen recently in a rental. It was dark and quiet at night. We loved it!!"

"The house we stayed in is very comfortable and clean. Lots of room. Our host is super nice and responsive. Locals are very friendly, always waved at us when we’re driving on the street.
Lots of places to see close to Shingletown. Burney Falls, Cinder Cone, Manzanita, Helen and Emerald lakes. Lassen Volcanic hike, Bumpass Hell, mudpots, Subway lave tube etc."
"The grounds were beautiful! We loved the waterfall and stream! There were wild blackberries along the trail to the waterfall. The owner was friendly and accommodated us when we had to extend our stay due to car trouble. There are several cool projects he's working on. We would definitely stay here again. "
Photos displayed in this historic museum provide a window into the park’s appearance during the tumultuous eruptions and rock avalanches of the early 1900s.
Fascinating volcanic rocks suggest an enormous debris avalanche shook the area just a few centuries ago. Swim in the lake and hike around the mountains.
