The Bidwell House is a little piece of heaven on earth. It is clean, peaceful, beautifully decorated and very hospitable. The cookies and food are excellent. The hostess is so accommodating. Each room has its own character and charm. I stay here often and love it.

Beautiful room decor in a well maintained older building. Large room and sitting area, jet tub was great. Breakfast isn’t served until 8:30 so don’t be in a hurry to leave.

Room was clean. Breakfast was awesome. And staff was wonderful. My only comment is that mattress and pillows are due for replacement in the Meadow View Suite. Other than that it was a wonderful two days!

Breakfasts were very delicious. A cookie jar full of homemade cookies was a nice touch. The sunroom and gazabo were comfy places to sit and read or enjoy a glass of wine. The grounds were lovely. The bed was comfortable; smaller, fluffier pillows would be a good update.

Amazing B&B! Eva cooked my Wife and I an amazing breakfest and was very courteous, allowing us to check in late. Definitely highly recommended place to stay especially if your heading to Lassen National Park- we will be back!
