The location is good if you want to stay in the real deal heart of Manila. The mattress on the bed could be softer, hard as a rock very firm. They offer you a lot of entertainment and very safe hotel with plenty of security.

The facilities and services are adequate for the price. AC is Alain not clean. The filter needs to be cleaned. When you check out, you have to wait for 5 to 10 minutes until the staff checks the room. I have never encountered this kind of system anywhere before. The stuff people are kind and helpful. The worst thing about this hotel is the location. After dark, you’re not advised to go out for a walk it is very dangerous. Although the train station is right in front of the hotel and the convenience stores are very close. Wherever you go, you will need Grab.

Good hotel with central location

Nice hotel in a very central location with super nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast that was included in the price and the hotel also have a swimingpool. Good value for the money.

The best hotel near Tondo

Excellent buffet breakfast, the kids love the kiddie pool. It is close to Deca Mall where the kids go everyday to the playhouse and come back to a quiet, comfortable, secure hotel. Hotel starr is easy to work with.

The staff were very friendly and always greeting us with a smile. The breakfast was a great addition to our stay because the food was good and unlimited and the pool though a little on the smaller side made up for it with clean and clear water which was nice and refreshing after a hot day in the sun.

The breakfast buffet was a little underwhelming but Ray came through for my wife who has a lot of food allergies. he went out of his way to make her breakfast delicious and satisfying. The location is really good, close to metro train station and lots of jeepny's close by if you want to go a short distance. Our room did not have any windows which was a suprise but it seemed clean enough and the shower got hot water quick! I would stay here again if I needed to be in this part of Manila.

We liked the location. Close to T1 line and local attractions. The hotel is very run down and needs improvements. Rooms are average no windows. The staff made our stay very enjoyable always there yo help and advise us.
