Visiting Manchester at short notice and the Old Traffod Guest House was a great spot for our visit. Instructions for check-in were clear, and the house was in a handy location to access Manchester for our visit.

Great location and great price but bathroom and kitchen area are tired looking and outdated. Bedroom smelt but was only there to sleep. Traffic noise from 6am felt constant for about 2 hours. Checking in and the codes were simple to use.

Comfortable and quiet rooms in a nice area, safety and security felt great and kitchen facilities were a nice touch. Bathroom felt a little dated and could do with some TLC, but otherwise lovely place with contemporary decor and comfy beds.

It is a house where individual rooms are rented out. It’s good if anyone is coming for work, if you want to enjoy with friends this is not suitable. Communal areas were neat.

Won't stay again

Location for what we needed was good but the house itself left a lot to be desired. The kitchen was too dirty to use, worktops were damaged and looked generally unkempt. The shared toilet/bathroom was in desperate need of a revamp. Most things was damaged and no toilet roll. The room itself was okay but again had damaged furniture and the overall general feel made the well worn bedding seem dirty. Even lampshade was heavily stained. The TV volume was locked to avoid disturbance to other guests. A sentiment we agree with but it was locked to such a low level we couldn't even hear it so just had the TV turned off. The house generally could do with a severe refurb.

Not clean

Cheap accommodation but you really have to consider if this is the right place for you. The pictures look reasonable but I’m reality it isn’t nice. The bedrooms stinks of cigarettes and the bed linen is so cheap and thin that it doesn’t give you confidence. Location spot on. Easy to access and plenty of parking on a game day

Shame on condition great location

This accommodation would be great for me on a weekly basis as i need accommodation nearly every week for at least 3/4 days. But the bathroom sink is a safety risk and you cannot use it. The TV was fixed on a very low volume and you could not hear the tv.The room next door on Saturday night had a party from 0300 in the morning and it was still going on when i left at 0600. So I dont think I will be staying there again unfortunately

Horrible stay. Bedsheets felt like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks, they were damp and muggy. The heating didn’t work, staff wouldn’t respond to my messages during the whole stay, the bathroom was unclean. This is not a place to stay if you actually want a comfy night away from home. I was also woken up every couple of hours by noise in the corridor.

The place is very well located if tou are traveling for the Trafford Centre area .. i was attending an event at The Warehouse so was perfect. The room was ok , stains on carpet were a little off putting. But overall clenliness was alright. The bedding didnt fit the bed well so when i rolled the sheet qoukd come off exposing the naked bed which wasnt nice. The bathrooms are attrocious and need repairing cracked sinks and toilet seat feels like the owners dont really look after the place. Would be nice if maintanence was done and sheet fitted the bed.
