This hotel was cheap and that is why I booked it. There isn't really anything positive to say about it other than that. It was grubby and old in the room and needed an overhaul. The floor from above creaked every time the guest above walked about and it was very loud. The chap on the reception wasn't welcoming in any way, the bed was passable for 1 night but most would not like it. When I arrived the receptionist was arguing with a guest about an extra charge they added due to a concert in the area and when i left in the morning the police were there searching the place. Probably gives a good indication. I would avoid.

Hotel was closing the day I left staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel was fine for an overnight stay. The key card wasn’t working when we arrived so we were shown to our room without a key. We had to ask at reception for a key before we left for the evening. The room was satisfactory in cleanliness and decor and suited us fine for a weekend stay for getting to the city centre!
Dreadful place.
Economy does not need to mean filthy and tatty.
Room had red stains on ceiling, walls and carpet. I hope it wasnt blood. Bedside table was just digusting. Clearly had a spill and not been cleaned.
Heating didn't work. Probably because it looked like someone had kicked it.
Overall extremely dirty and tatty. Wont ever use a "Comfort Inn" again.
If comparing to Travel Lodge the towels are bigger - that's about the only plus.
I was first given the keys to a room that has not been made (11pm). Then moved to another room where there were 2 double beds, a single and a matress on the floor. The internet didn't work and when I mentioned it att the front desk was told that yes - they have poor internet - thanks.
The electric heating was switched on though the thermostand didn't control it and I couldn't find an on/off switch. by 1am it was starting to get too warm so i opened the window (outside temperature 1c). The room continued to get hotter and hotter and by 5am the temperature in the room was 29c.
Needless to say I got little to no sleep. What a rip off for £50 a night.

Was really surprised, we got what we paid for, it was clean, sraff were friendly, it was cheap. Next door to a pub.
After requesting a single bed ground floor room on line, on arrival we were put in a 1st floor room as "there were no single bed rooms on the ground floor" why were we not told of this when we booked? There was no continental breakfast as advertised because " the delivery did not come". This happened 3 mornings out of 7, I emailed the manager about this problem but received no reply at all. Breakfast is available at the hotel next door, at a cost, but doesn,t start til 10am, too late for tourists. It seems this motel is run by local people that are trying their best to keep it going by not being honest with the customers. All in all, a total lack of communication.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Comfort Inn, there was a fault with my initial room, however I was quickly relocated to another, room overall was excellent, was a little tired in places, WiFi was a little hit and miss at times, staff were friendly and sociable, the pub next door served good food at a reasonable price, and the car park bays were well marked. Would I come back, without a doubt yes, the location for my work was perfect, thank you to all the staff.
When I booked this hotel for an overnight stay I read a number of very unfavourable reviews, ranging from cigarette smoke in the bedroom to drug use to unsavoury people lurking nearby. I therefore arrived at the hotel with some trepidation. I was both pleased and reassured by what I found. The staff are friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast and orange juice in the evening were complimentary. The room was clean with no evidence of cigarettes or drugs. Perhaps the bed could have been more comfortable, but this is a handily placed budget hotel and if I'm in the area again I would definitely stay there again
Very well located with easy access to motorways. There is a pub on site which provides a good selection of drinks and affordable food. Hotel staff were very friendly

Easy check in, friendly staff. Room generally clean but could do with windows washing inside and a wipe around the skirtings. Would stay here again.
Staff are brilliant here. It’s a budget hotel but it’s clean and fits the needs. Lovely pub next door. I usually stay in 4 star hotels but had to stay here as needed to be near a friend. I really can’t fault this place at all. Would stay again.
When we arrived we was allocated a room. When we entered the room it was being occupied and was all messy and smelly. We went down to the front desk and explained the issue and the staff as the front desk was helpful and allocated us a different room which he then checked before us entering. Paid for breakfast but when we went to the pub that was serving breakfast they said that it was a mistake with the hotel and that breakfast wasn't included, so we had to pay for our own breakfast, which was lovely. But other then that a nice hotel to stay in :)
