Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. My fellow road-bike travelers and I enjoyed our stay Motel 6 Mammoth Lakes. During check-in (afternoon of 5/25), Rudolph was friendly, helpful and informative, and did not hesitate to allow us early check-in given that he had two rooms that were already vacated and cleaned up. When we had to unexpectedly check-out 2 days early on on 5/31, Gabe was helpful and courteous, so e left knowing that our charges were exactly correct. Motel 6 Mammoth Lakes rates are an excellent value in Mammoth, and literally across the street from several eaterie, coffee shops, and sports stores, making it a great choice for a value-oriented traveler.
