Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. While this property is old and could use a full renovation, the rooms were clean and the vibe was fun. Who doesn't want to stay in a mountain lodge at the bottom of a ski hill? Breakfast is not included, and so we went into town instead of purchasing from their restaurant. The location is a drive from the small town of Mammoth, so not walkable or convenient in that aspect, but if you came to ski, 100% the place you want to be. The staff were friendly and happy to recommend things to do and places to eat. For a one night stay in Mammoth, this was a fine stay.

A summer stay. A bit run down, but comfortable rooms, with courteous, friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Uncrowded. Loved the pool and jacuzzi. Restaurant had limited offerings, and service was very slow.

The staff were so nice and helpful, check in was fast and easy. They kept our mountain bikes locked up and safe for us. Our room was clean and the view was awesome. The bike ride to the gondola was only seconds away. The snack bar has goodies for breakfast that were pretty good. We stay here every year and will definitely come be back again.

An affordable option with the perfect location near the lifts and gondola and I liked being away from the village. The room itself was clean. The bathroom was clean but in need of a renovation. We could hear people walking upstairs so that was kind of annoying. They have outdoor parking and a parking structure. I would, however, consider booking here again because it’s one of the most affordable options.
