The best area to stay in Malic is the central village area, particularly around Malic Square.

This area is the heart of Malic, featuring its main historic buildings and local amenities. You'll find the local church, the post office, and a few small shops and eateries concentrated along the main road that runs through the square. It's a compact and easily navigable area.

For couples looking for a relaxed getaway, staying in the central village offers easy access to the local hiking trails that start just outside the village. You can enjoy quiet evenings and strolls through the historic parts of Malic.

Families will also appreciate the central village for its convenient access to the local park and play area, which is just a short walk from Malic Square.

The best time to go to Malic is during the late spring (May-June) and early autumn (September-October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with comfortable temperatures for exploring the region without the peak summer crowds. You'll find the countryside at its most picturesque, whether with spring blossoms or the rich colours of autumn foliage, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling.

For those keen on outdoor pursuits and enjoying the natural beauty of the Ústí nad Labem Region, these months are perfect. The mild conditions are excellent for exploring the nearby Bohemian Switzerland National Park or the stunning Elbe Sandstone Mountains, allowing for comfortable walks and scenic drives. You'll be able to experience the landscape at its most inviting.

While summer (July-August) is also popular, it can be busier with more tourists and higher temperatures.
