Our recent visit was simply incredible. Overflowing with history, every corner of the establishment exuded charm and fascination. The staff was not only helpful and humble but also incredibly knowledgeable, adding depth to the experience. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable journey through time.

Great location for walking everywhere
Excellent location! No need to drive as everything is within walking distance. Marco was a fabulous “host” and was attentive to any needs or questions. Upgraded to a quieter apartment on higher floor. The room was spacious and clean. Although the streetcar vibration was noticed, it was not disruptive to sleep. Also streetcars don’t run after about 12:30am-6am, so we slept well. Nice kitchen with all you would need if dining in. Plenty of coffee, which was a huge plus! Hotel was beautiful, clean and spacious. Smell of sewer gas from bathroom was the only negative, which is common in older buildings. We kept the door closed and did fine otherwise. Parking was off-street and very safe. Lovely stay for those who wish to walk through Mainz and be close to everything. Christmas market was lovely!

We arrived earlier than normal check in time and were met by a very friendly and welcoming agent. We were given a beautiful room immediately. Definitely a perfect place for walking and seeing the sights of Mainz

What a WONDERFUL find! We initially decided to stay in Mainz instead of Frankfurt because it's much easier to get around and in and out of vs. the larger city of Frankfurt. The Apartment Suite Osteiner Hof is in the heart of Mainz. Not only is it walking distance to everything, including public transit, tourist sites, and lots of dining option, but the spacious multi-bedroom suites are perfect for families. Marco was so helpful in getting us settled and even stepped up to help us when our son suddenly got sick. Luckily is was only a 24-hr. bug, but having such a large space to be confined for 24-hrs.helped alleviate the stress of having a sick teen. We did read some of the reviews that referenced the noise from the public transit, but honestly, we didn't hear anything. If you have kids and are looking for an awesome place to make your homebase while in Germany, than look no further.

We arrived early and were able to check into our apartment, which was beautiful. The staff was very kind and helpful. Location was within walking distance to everything and overlooked the Christmas markets.

Great location and building. The decoration was tasteful but some of the hinges on the cupboards and drawers seem to be faulty. Might be problematic in the warmer months as having the windows open to the square can be a bit noisy.

Amazing Accommodation
Our favourite accommodation on our Germany trip. The suite was beautiful, modern with an old world character and huge windows with a plaza/sunset view. Host was excellent during check in and throughout the stay.

The check in went well except the man, Mike, was not friendly. He was to show us to our parking place 25E, and was brusk. In the morning, we left at 8 am on Sunday and the main door to the building was locked. I messed with it out in the cold and finally called. He seemed perturbed that he would have to get out of bed but did come quickly. Then he insisted on me watching him unlock this very old and heavy door in order to show me how inept he felt I was. He seems to be bothered with customers and that is not the kind of feeling you are looking for as a customer.

This is a great mansion like residential building along a plaza. At first sight, you think it is a museum or a government house, but it is your residence, an upper class apartment building. But you have to pay 25 euro for the parking.... Still the whole experience is great... and would definitely come back.

Beautiful, historic building. Room was spacious, well appointment. Central location, with nearby restaurants and stores. A few blocks away from Altstadt (old town). Highly recommened, can't wait to go back.

definitely a place to stay during a trip to Mainz
This is a new establishment. I liked it very much for several reasons: 1) Customer service. Excellent with a personal touch. Very accommodative. Extremely friendly personal. 2) The condition. This is a brand new establishment with a modern interior. I would say luxury apartments. Outside this looks like a pretty old in very good shape building, while inside is well renovated apartments. 3) Location. it is difficult to bit this location - right in the middle of the historical center on Mainz. There are plenty of restaurants and wine stores.

Als Ortsansässige habe ich mir diese Unterkunft für ein gemütliches Treffen mit Freunden spontan gegönnt. Alle Erwartungen wurden weit übertroffen, vom herzlichen Empfang über die sehr guten Empfehlungen was Gastronomie im Umfeld angeht bis zum entspannten Auschecken. 5 Sterne + Die Wohnungen sind (m)ein Traum, buchstäblich. Ich komme wieder, auch ohne Freunde, für einen Urlaub in der eigenen Stadt!
