Hotel Hammer - Mainz Hauptbahnhof
3.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (338)
"We stay at Hotel Hammer just one night during a longer trip a Rhine river valley . We like location . Close to the railway station. The hotel was not new but well maintained . Staff was attentive and nice; buffet breakfast was excellent . We left the luggage in the lockers at rail station and explored the town hands free for an entire day. The old town center is full of treasures and the main romantic cathedral was marvellous . Stefania and Cristian , may 2024"

IntercityHotel Mainz
4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (868)
"A very handy hotel just opposite the West exit from the main station. Modern building with spacious, comfortable rooms, really quiet even though on a main road. Staff friendly and helpful, if you join their free H+ rewards you get a free public transport ticket for the local area which is handy. I got my free drink for being a Hotels.com status customer at check in. Room was nice with free bottled water, shower a bit weak as it's an eco shower but otherwise I'd recommend highly for the price...
