"My stay at the Oceanview Hotel was great, but what truly sets it apart is the owner, Edgar, and his wonderful family. They are incredibly hospitable and friendly. We struck up a conversation over lunch at the hotel restaurant—where the food was excellent—and ended up talking about sports. "The wait staff Judy and Eric are awesome. I have been going here for 3 years now and they have always gone out of their way to make me comfortable. Light rain in the morning a few days but cleared up by noon. Drink lots of water bring your sunscreen. This place does not have a lot of amenities but make up in location of being on a beach."

"Curacion is an awesome place to stay with the friendliest people you will ever meet. Starting with the property manager, Fabian, to the bartender, chef, and staff ... They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is 5 stars. If that isn't enough, Bentley and Mercedes will greet you every day (two Saint Bernards).They have their own private beach with reef access that is awesome ... Beautiful with lots of fish. Kayaks and snorkeling gear included.They also run a tour company ... From fishing trips and snorkeling, to the Sloth and Monkey hangout, and tours of the islands famous West End. Thanks for all awesome trip and we'll definitely see you soon!!"

"The house was new, clean, and felt very safe with security on the premises. The property was definitely bigger than expected, which was a bonus! The bedrooms were huge, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hostess Astrid was the best—responsive and attentive to all questions. The security guard on-site was also very helpful and friendly. The pool was clean and well-maintained.The downside is that the property is located on a main road, so there is a lot of traffic noise. Additionally, it's about a 35-45 minute drive to West Bay, so it's not very close if you're planning to visit frequently. Another thing to note is that the house is attached to a dive center, which could be a plus for those interested in diving. Overall, a great place to stay and its pet friendly. "
