"Jazz at the Front Desk is amazing. Engaging, friendly and customer service orientated. Usually stay at Hilton Gardens on vacations but especially during spring break becoming too pricey. This Hampton Inn is only new carpet (in the common areas) away from equaling the next level stay. Huge plus: parking garage on site !"

"Arrived for a 3 pm checkin and didn't get our room until 5 pm. Reserved a king bed and received two double beds. Very small room and can hear everything and everyone in the hallway. Valet is a requirement and you have to have the car brought around every time you need something out of the car. The Starbucks baristas are enormously rude, ignore you, people who had paid where actually leaving without their drinks, orders took over 30 minutes to receive every time, rooms enormously overpriced for what seemed like an overly watered down Aloft hotel. Spent $1100 for 2 nights of lodging. What a scam and major disappointment. Trust me. Stay elsewhere."

"Good location and close to waterfront. The breakfast was good and had a variety of hot as well as cold items. Coffee available anytime. Parking garage is nearby and well lit. We had a clogged shower and a heat issue. The maintenance guy was there in minutes. The room was cleaned daily and well done. Having allergies I was alert to this. Staff were always helpful and pleasant to deal with. I’d stay there again. 😊"

"You have to be kidding we stayed at the original Citadel. That being said the place really needs sprucing up. Peeling paint and stained carpets everywhere. Awesome location. Central to everything. Bed was one of the better ones we've slept on."

"Resort was very nice. Only funny thing - no micro waves? Had to drive to the local Circle K and use their micro wave. Their clerk said, "WOW" even Motel 6 has micro waves. Just saying ! "
