"The Hideaway was in a great location away from the rest of the island. They did a great job with the landscaping and the farm was well kept. Our two bedroom cottage was great - clean and quiet. We highly recommend this place if you want to be away from the busyness of the island. "

"Centrally located in town, so one could walk to restaurants and to the Tortola ferry. The safari stop is directly in front, so that can be caught to ride to Red Hook to catch the ferry to St. John. "
"The space worked for 7 of us. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were good. The view is amazing and deck was well appointed. Some things I would’ve liked to know ahead of time…the photos of the pool are a bit deceiving. The pool is very small, more like a big hot tub. The grill was propped up on a rock because the legs have rusted off and two of the burners didn’t work. There’s no ice maker so plan on buying lots of ice. The dishwasher didn’t work. They said the part was ordered. Overall it’s a great location, size and view but the house has been neglected. "

"We stayed here at the beautifully decorated house and cottage in June, when the trade winds are amazing and making the pool deck pleasant in 90 degree temps at all times of the day. There are AMAZING views from every balcony, and pool area as well. The kitchen has every cooking equipment and tool you would want. The drinking water is safe and triple filtered, but we ended up buying gallons of drinking water for the week. admittedly, we are water snobs. I would recommend using the counter top ice maker; the ice maker in the freezer cant keep up. The grill was great. We used that a lot. It might be time for a new frozen Margarita maker, the ice grinds but the mixer for the flavors didn’t work well. 1 surprise we had, was a pool attendant came to check on the pool while we were sunbathing on the pool deck. He was fine, polite and didn't stay long, but it was a little startling to see an unannounced man walking onto your pool deck. This place is so private it could have been questionable what the pool attendant would have walked into (if it was just a couple staying)…It would have been good to know that he was coming. This gated community and gated house is safe, clean and comfortable. We could have just stayed at this house the whole week. Loved it!"
