Great location, everything else very bad
The apt is in a fabulous location, truly the best neighborhood of Madrid.
Unfortunately that was the only good thing.
The property was in a calamitous shape:
The wooden floor is univen, has considerable lifts, especially in the kitchen and the corridor. Roaches live in these damaged areas (YES, ROACHES).
There was an armoire tucked with dirty clothes, probably from previous rentals. Also there were a large number of remains of broken furniture, staked on top of another armoire.
And, to mention only one more of numerous deficiencies, the master bedroom bathroom door can not be open from inside. I got locked there for about one hour, until my wife came back from the supermarket, and joining efforts we finally opened the door.
During many years and a lot of traveling this has been my worst experience.
