I didnt, couldnt go because of madrid lockdown but hotel been ignoring contact from Hotels.com for a month.

The site doesn't tell you that the hotel is unstaffed after 9:00pm. You simply can't check in after that. You are emailed a code and told where keys are but if you have no email access, you are simply locked out of the hotel you have paid more than $300 for.

Great location.
The area was amazing - very central, close to many attractions, lots of local restaurants and tapas bars. We booked it because the property description indicated it was a 10 room guest house, which technically is accurate BUT, it is co-located with a number of other 10-guest room Hostals in the same building. We found it noisy from other guests (outside noise minimal). We expected little in the way of creature comforts but that said, powdered coffee was a disappointment as was the very uncomfortable bed. All in all, if you are choosing this property for the location, it’s great but for all else, especially given the cost, I’d say it was not a place I’d choose again. We stayed 3 nights...1/2 way through the first night, I was wishing we were checking out...3 basically sleepless nights in Madrid. Loved Madrid but not this property. By the way, the staff was great - very helpful but once the reception desk closes at 10pm, there is nobody to tell the people acting like 5yo’s, making noise at all hours to keep it down in the hallways.
