Beautiful apartment with a privileged location in the center of Madrid, in an area full of leisure and close to the main tourist sites.

It is not easy to find a 190 m flat. with 4 rooms each with its private bathroom, recently renovated with a very cozy eclectic style and mixing vintage furniture with pieces from several countries giving it a unique style.

It is a large apartment very well decorated, ideal for large groups or families. It has 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom plus an extra full bathroom. The living room is spacious and bright with two balconies and a gazebo. The kitchen is completely equipped. The apartment has air conditioning (throughout the house except the bathrooms) and heating. It is located on the first floor without elevator.
The apartment is less than a minute walk from the Antón Martín metro station.

Fantastic location for accessing all of the sites - we walked everywhere and our party included my Mum who is a fit 84 year old!. Minutes walk away from a lovely area - Barrio de las Letras - with nice bars, restaurants, shops. Really happy with the property - clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. Bedrooms were very quiet and we appreciated each having our own bathroom.

Old friends outstanding stay

The property truly is one of the best VRBO's yet for us. It has a great set up for couples traveling together all in-suite rooms which are all quiet and private and a perfect shared space for socializing and dining. The location is absolutely perfect, probably one of the coolest neighborhoods in Madrid surrounded by great restraunts, tapas bars, and shops. It is also about equal distance and an easy walk to La Latina, and the Prado/Botanical Garden/Train Station area.We will be back!

Lovely Apartment

Wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment. Great location! Dalia was very easy to communicate with and took care of all our requests including holding on to our luggage before check in.

Good location

Location was close to things but off the beaten path. The interior comfortable and was great for our party of 7. The only negative was the listing claims there was a hot tub but there was none. Great place and would recommend to families and friends.

Great house! Lots of bathrooms

Of our three houses in Spain, this was our favorite. The location was good - in a neighborhood and not super touristy (ie expensive). We loved that each bedroom had an attached bathroom. The host was communicative, everything worked, everything was clean, and it was a nice layout. We were a group of 9 - 4 adults and 5 teenagers. We'd seek this house out again.

Excellent location!

Our family of five arrived a bit early. Our driver took us to a cute coffee shop directly across the street where we waited for Dalia. We checked in early and she made the process smooth! The apartment was in a great location and we were able to walk to many wonderful places. The paella cooking class was amazing! We met great people and had many laughs. The Tuktuk ride was a wonderful way to see the city. The only minor issue was the temperature in the apt. It was chilly but Dalia was quick to respond! Overall we had a wonderful 5 days taking in many cultural sights! We would highly recommend DIWAN!

Excellent location in Madrid

Our group of six adults (age early 60’s) definitely enjoyed our stay in Madrid. The apartment has 4 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms, a large living room and small but ample kitchen with full refrigerator. All of the bathrooms are recently remodeled with excellent shower heads. The location is excellent! Walking distance to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. There is a grocery store a few doors down from the apartment. Communication with the host was quick and helpful. The host let us check in early the morning of our arrival. The busy street can be loud but none of the bedrooms face the street side so that noise doesn’t disturb sleep. Note: must climb one steep staircase to get to apartment but not an issue even with luggage. Highly recommend!

Big beautiful home, great for large groups!

My family and I (8 people in all) stayed here for a week. The apartment is large and comfortable. It has a lovely historic European feel, while also having all the modern conveniences and updated/remodeled bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. It felt just like being in our own home - we were able to buy groceries and cook comfortably, plenty of space for everyone to relax, and a great vantage point to hang out looking down onto the street below. The owner was very communicative, helpful, and friendly. The apartment was stocked with all necessities, but there is also a little market right next door at street level, and across the street is a shop that sells gourmet coffee. The location is very central so you can walk to all the major tourist attractions in Madrid. This is not at all a reflection of the home or the owner - just a caution that the Lavapies area does have some pickpocket activity. Keep items in your front pockets and don't wear flashy jewelry when walking in public.

This property Is in an incredible location and very comfortable! It was perfect for our group of nine and was well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms and more. Great place and good location

We stayed at the apartment for 2 nights with 7 people and didn't find anything negative. The place looks like in the pictures, was very clean and was in a good location to discover Madrid. The communication with the host Dalia went also very well and she was very responsive.

GREAT WEEKEND

It is a spacious apartment on the first floor, although it does not have an elevator (the building is installing an elevator these days), access is very comfortable. All the rooms have an en-suite bathroom and there is also another complete bathroom near the living room. Very complete kitchen with everything you need. Dalia, the very kind owner, allowed us to check in and check out at our convenience, avoiding having to leave luggage in storage. Bed linen and towels all very clean and of good quality. We will be back next year

Best Apartment I've ever Stayed In

This apartment is absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and spacious with a very nice living area. There was 6 of us who stayed here and you could definitely have 8 very comfortably. The rooms are very nice and all have their own bathrooms including a shower. There is a lot of closet space to store your clothes and belongings. There were many amenities including coffee, tea, a bottle of wine, soda, and a lot of items in the kitchen if you want to use it to cook. It is very quiet at night and easy to sleep. The location is also wonderful. There's a supermarket and fruit stand right below. It is within walking distance of many great attractions and there are a ton of restaurants and bars nearby as well. The host Dalia is absolutely wonderful. She is very easy to communicate with and very prompt in all her answers. She helped us with many suggestions and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again in the future.

Die Wohnung ist extrem gut gelegen , leider ist sie nicht genug sauber. Badezimmer musste ich selber sauber machen . Abfluss in den Duschen hat nicht gut funktioniert, Toilettendeckel kaputt und dir Toilette an sich wackelte . Eingangstor muss man ein bisschen heben um sie Ohne Riesen Geräusch aufzumachen .obendrauf gab es noch Karkalakken aber dafür hatte die Hauswirtin Insektensprays bereitgestellt .Zwei der Schlafzimmer hatten keinen Fenster.

Elegant and Comfortable Apartment

We thoroughly loved our stay at this elegant and comfortable apartment in Old Madrid! It exudes charm and character with the tiles, arched doorways, and chandeliers, and the bathrooms and kitchen are modern and convenient. The apartment is very clean and had every amenity we needed to enjoy our stay. It is also close to the Metro and local attractions and restaurants. Owner is very responsive and available. We would definitely stay here again!

We found plenty of space for our teenage family of 5. All bedrooms en-suite. Immaculately maintained property with modern facilities, great location (walk to Atocha / edge of old town) and tastefully put together. Hosts (Sherif) couldn’t have been more helpful.

Perfect stay

The pictures of the flat are amazing but reality is even better . We we're a group of 10 and our stay was very confortable. The rooms were spacious, with their own bathroom, the living room was very inviting with space for all of us. All very clean and beautiful decor. And, super important since we were there in November, the air conditioning worked perfectly and it was warm and cozy inside. The location was superb, in a nice neighborhood, close to everything, with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Dalia was a great host and the check in/ check out was simple, easy and accomodating. I'm definitely recommending this flat to everyone. It will not disappoint
