This spacious studio apartment (third floor with elevator) is located in a historic building over 300 years old, newly reconstructed. It is situated just 250 meters from the Mercado de San Miguel, 300 meters from the Plaza Mayor, and 750 meters from the Royal Palace and Puerta del Sol.

Great place to stay in Madrid. Had everything our family needed for a few days trip. The apartment is newly refurbished and very clean, super helpful host. And the location is the best! Right in the centre of Madrid, easy walking distance to all the sites, and just off the main road, so nice and quiet at night.

The apartment was very clean, bigger than expected and when you walked in, it felt like a sweet little home. The location was very central and yet it was very quiet in the apartment due to the small side street and well-insulated windows. The hosts were always available and very nice.

An excellent experience - comfortable, well located, historic

Comfortable, well equipped apartment in a newly refurbished building, close to tourist sites but not in a touristy area. We felt like we were part of a friendly community going about its daily life - the area was once Madrid&#39s transport hub and is full of history and is well-known for its excellent tapas bars. If you open the windows you can enjoy the atmosphere, and if you close them, it&#39s very quiet inside. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Excellent communication from the hosts, who have paid close attention to small details that enhance the experience that were much appreciated. We arrived in Madrid early in the morning and stored our luggage 50m from our apartment at Lock & Be Free using a discount code from our hosts. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

Es war auffällig sauber und die Kommunikation lief überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen. Die Lage ist für die Erkundung Madrids unschlagbar. Auch die Kaution wurde bereits 24 Stunden nach Abreise zurückerstattet. Wir könnten nicht zufriedener sein und werden sicherlich zurückkehren. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.
