Liked the location in historical area of Madrid. Pedestrian friendly, lots of culinary choices, and very cool vibe. Accomodations had elevator, so that was a plus.

Centrally located in the Latin area, abundance of restaurants, terraces, stores. Parking garage literally around the corner, at about 30euros per day. The lady who manages the apartment is super nice & extremely helpful. Only slight negative fried food could be smelled in the evenings since theres a restaurant on the ground floor but this was a minor thing!

We had a great time being en el barrio de las letras with access to so many different activities , restaurants and shopping. This is a historic area where you can find the places where many writers, poets and important people of Madrid lived such as Miguel de Cervantes. Definitely go back.

Convenient with some draw backs
There are some pros and cons: -close to metro stop Anton Martin, 5 min walk -clean and comfortable -enough space for the 4 of us, Two showers and toilets were a strong plus -lots of food places very near -very close to all of the major tourist sites Cons - there is a bar/restaurant on the ground floor and the choice was fresh air or noise until very late. Teenagers couldn't sleep until late -there was no broom or vac to clean up the floors for our 5 night stay. Would we go back? Not sure.

We stayed here for 2 nights in June . The location was great with easy access of access to restaurants and cafes. A short walk to the main shopping area and 7 mins from the Madrid tour bus pick up. The room was clean and spacious and we enjoyed our stay here . Would recommend .

Wonderful location!
Location wonderfully close to food drink and attractions. Easy to reach from Metro. We stayed in 404 - the sleeping spaces have low ceilings and the bathroom is small with next to no shelving space. Host was kind and responded in a very timely manner. When we were here I agree with another reviewer about the fishy smells in the lobby and stairwells. Those with mobility concerns should be aware that the stairs to the bathroom and sleeping loft are narrow as well.

Room 103 was not great for those that go to sleep early as the restaurant is directly below and the noise from their extraction fan is rather loud in this room. The room also had cooking smells including fish and not good for those with sensitive noses and stomachs. Windows only opened to an enclosed terrace that was also directly connected to the restaurant and looked straight into neighbours windows, so very little fresh air to combat smell. The apartment was however very spacious.

Bathrooms were fairly modern but place needed a little loving care because drawers were off its rails so could not close. One bathroom door kept on jamming and in the end the handle fell off. Bathroom garbage can lid did not go up when pedal pushed. We traveled with 2 other families who stayed in other places and this apartment was the best.

It was a very comfortable and spacious apartment with everything that we needed to make our stay great. Right in the middle of a busy area with bars, squares, restaurants and music clubs but really quiet. 5 minute walk to the Prado. Easy to get to by Metro from the airport. We would stay there again. Thank you.

The location was great, walking distance to popular sites (Plaza Mayor, Prado Museum, etc.). The reason I gave 4 stars is because you can hear other rooms loudly. Our last night the people above us were going up and down the stairs and it smelled like they we smoking inside. There’s no staff onsite so no one to monitor these behaviours.

This place is very central but i dont think it should be in the hotel category as there is no house cleaning. The place also does not include a safe which is essential when traveling as a tourist. I understand it says aparements but i have stayed at apartments that include house cleaning. When i tried communicating with the person via whatsapp he or she read my message and completely ignored my question about whether there was a safe avaiable. In addition checkout was at 11 but my flight was not until later in the evening and there is no place ro leave yoir luggage. I went o eat and came back at 11:15 and was completly locked out of the apartment. Luckily i found someone that did their cleaning that was able to let me grab my luggage. Yes i know i was late coming back but i think others ahould know this before booking.
