"John at the front desk was so accommodating and friendly. Explained all the services, where the restaurants were, and explained some of the history of the area which my husband loved. He went over and beyond for us. Thanks John! The room was very clean and had all the amenities anyone could want. Breakfast buffet was substantial! Everything was hot and tasty. Will certainly stay again when in the area. "

"This is a fun place to stay. The “Log Cabin” style of the basic room is just really cool (I stayed in the standard room, with two queen beds, and “Old Hickory” rocking chair and regular chair — no jacuzzi or other amenities found in the more “suite” style rooms). The staff is super nice, and there is a small well-maintained zoo connected to the back of the main building, which is fun to check out. "

"Everything was wonderful! Getting checked in was a little numb, but Wayne went above and beyond in his effort to take care of it. Our rooms were perfect! The staff was attentive and friendly. The bartender at the evening reception was excellent! The food was fresh and very delicious! The hot tub is Hot! (A bit too hot for some of my family members) The pool was very warm water! Very enjoyable! Our breakfast was very well prepared and just about anything you could want! Thank you to all! Farriss & Hodge families will be back! "

"This is a large vintage brick building renovated into a modern boutique hotel. Everything seemed-well maintained, clean and quiet. Our room was outstanding. Very spacious, light-filled with city views from generous-sized windows, sweet sitting areas, and a king platform bed, comfy and welcoming. Water, pour-over coffee and tea were provided. Bathroom was nicely appointed (love the Malin n Goetz products.). Off-site parking is nearby and for us on a Sunday was free. There is no front desk, check in is managed with codes sent remotely - this went very smoothly. The property managers checked in by text and responded quickly to all questions. There is a bar/restaurant under construction on the lobby floor - will be a nice feature when available. "
