We only stayed one night and it as a thunderstorm outside so the hot tub was a no go but we checked it out and seemed clean and nice. The manor looks like a Colonial/Victorian decor. Rooms vary in size and style. The outside was nice with different areas of the property having fire pits, benches/chairs, and garden like areas. Overall our stay was definitely rememberable. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Lots of history here. The breakfast was great. We had the stuffed French toast with pecans and sauce on top and a dollop of whipped cream and 2 sausage patties. First B&B we stayed at where the owners and staff did not hover over you. Thank you for that. Does not seem to be a super haunted place but there is something there for sure. We stayed in the Stickley Suite. Best room in the house. The only negative thing I can say is the Oak and Parlor rooms if you decide to stay there, are 2 separate rooms on the first floor and share a bathroom and shower with others. The rooms are stated on the website as one room but I assure you they are seperate.

Lovely room, entire house is well appointed in period furniture. The Host met us at check-in, gave us a tour and history of this very interesting house. Throughout our stay she continued to make sure we were comfortable. A short drive from the turnpike and much nicer that your traditional hotel.

Unique stay

Amazing stay in a grande mansion. The food was delicious and our host Pat so caring and warm, we felt instantly at home. The location is close to many attractions but it would be just as nice staying in this beautiful location with outdoor patio, fire pit and hot tub. It’s beautiful like waking up in a muse sun with all the art and artifacts Pat has collected in a lifetime!

The owner was so welcoming and the work she is doing to bring business and pride to her community is admirable. I usually avoid extended conversation with hotel staff but Pat was so nice and insightful about the home and restorations. I left feeling like I would have to come back because I would want to see her again soon! Also - the patio and jacuzzi were lovely. Highly recommend stopping by Greendance Winery nearby.

This historic home is like a trip back in time. The bed was very comfortable. Working fire place in the room. Rafael was super accommodating. We had an early tour at Falling Water and he provided a delicious breakfast earlier than posted, so that we could make our tour on time. Beware: Falling Water is closed on Wednesdays and nearly all the nice local restaurants are closed as well. Found dinner at a local cafe diner. About a 40 minute drive to Falling Water.

This was the first bed and breakfast I've stayed at, and it did not disappoint! Pat was accessible via phone and was very communicative about laundry services. She welcomed us in and showed us around the mansion. Everything has been beautifully curated, and it is a marvel to walk around, admire all the decorations and noveltie, and read about the history through news clippings and framed articles. Pat is passionate about history and care of the place, and she was more than happy to share the history of the mansion and recommend local restaurants and activities to partake in. Breakfast was delicious, and it was nice to talk with some of the other guests over morning coffee and breakfast. I most definitely recommend and look forward to staying here again. Although this was a one night stay for my boyfriend and I between Michigan and Pittsburgh, I would enjoy staying here for a relaxing weekend as there is a hot tub, multitudes of outdoor, patio, and porch furniture, as well as various snack bowls, drinks, and desserts available throughout the day.
