‘Memories’ Cottage in the Heart of Barry's Bay
This cute little cottage is located right in the heart of Barry’s Bay. Start making memories with your family that will last a lifetime. Take a sunset stroll to Kamaniskeg Lake. Keep the kids busy at the nearby park and beach. Take the family on a drive and find some hidden gems like Crooked slide park, Combermere beach, Bonnechere caves or go family friendly white water rafting at Madawaska Kanu Centre!
If you have a boat or jet skis you can enjoy your days out on Kamaniskeg Lake with the public boat launch located just down the road.
Our place can comfortably sleep 9 people (max of 6 adults). We have 2 bedrooms on the main floor and a full bathroom as well as 1 bedroom downstairs with a second bathroom beside it. Upstairs in the main living room the sofa pulls out into a bed. We provide all the bed linens and bath towels for showering.
We allow pets BUT they must be added to the booking (PET FEE OF $150 PER STAY REQUIRED). MAXIMUM 1 dog unless pre approved by us at the time of booking. Addition fee for extra pet may apply depending on breed. If pet is not disclosed at booking, additional fees will be added at check out.
Please bring a long leash to keep them tied up and safe when unaccompanied outside.
You are responsible to pick up after your pet during your stay.
The Ottawa Valley is perfect for touring on your motorcycle during the warmer months and exploring the ATV and snowmobile trails all year round. Let’s not forget about the spectacular fall colours throughout Ottawa Valley and Algonquin Park!
Garbage removal is your responsibility at the end of your stay. This is common procedure in cottage country as garbage pick up is not available. We supply the necessary bags and a list of locations and hours for the local waste sites.
There is one security camera located outside on the back shed.

Visiting my Mom's home town
My girls wanted to see where their Grandma grew up so I found Memories Cottage on VRBO. This home is simply perfect. The location is wonderful, within steps from the main shopping/restaurant area of Barry's Bay. Less then a minute from my Mom's old house, which made us so happy. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean, well appointed and the owners obviously take pride with what they are offering to those of us who want to rent a vacation property. I would highly recommend this home and down the road we will come back.

We had an excellent stay in a very nice cottage. Great location very close to everything you need
We had no problems with the booking process and VRBO made it easy to connect with the property owner. Keeping in touch with the owner was also simple and made our experience more enjoyable would rent thier cottage again and return to Barry's Bay for a future vacation

Relaxing
A great staycation place for a small family. Rooms were really well kept. The kitchen was completely functional with all sorts of utensils. The location of the house is very close to restaurants and stores.
The house have a good yard for kids to play and all the details mentioned in the descriptions were there. All together a peaceful and worry less stay. I am sure the location would be beautiful during fall and winter time.
Looking forward to stay there again.

Best weekend getaway!!
Beautiful and spacious cottage with a perfect location just a walk away from the town shops and the boat dock. Super easy check-in and lots of items in the place in case you forget bug spray, chairs etc. The host goes above and beyond to outline things to do in the area, restaurants, and replying to any questions you have. A must stay 100% and cannot wait to go back!!!
