"This was a great place to stay!! The rooms were nice and clean, the outside amenities were amazing, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The only minor suggestion we had was regarding the temperature of the hot tub…it was REALLY HOT! But overall it was amazing!!"

"The balcony room with a view of Lake Huron was very nice! The hotel restaurant was easily accessible, the food was presented nicely and prepared at a high level! Free shuttle service to the Mackinac Island ferry lines was also a very nice bonus!! Overall, our hotel experience at the Breakers was excellent! Our plan is to stay at the Breakers again whenever we are planning a trip to Mackinac Island!"

"This is the second time we have stayed here. This time it was wayyyy better than that first time. The pool and hot tub were both open and super clean. The workout room didn't have much but what they did have was enough to get a good workout. The room was great, a little outdated but we've stayed in numerous different hotels and motels in Mackinaw and they all are like that. The hotel staff cleaned our room daily and went above and beyond with it. We appreciated their effort. The breakfast was good for being free, Saves a family of 3 at least 50 dollars minimum a day by staying there. We will be booking with them again next year."

"Our stay was very nice. One thing I would like to comment on is the girl that checked us in on September 8, I believe her name was Nicoy. She waswas outstanding. She was very pleasant and helpful. She went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. She wasn't there just to get a pay check like some. She was very cute, well dressed and had a very pleasant personality. It's hard to find employees that are this conscientious and reflect so outstandingly on a business. She deserves some special recognition for her positive reflection on the business. She's a keeper! She will get you return business."

"The people working here made the big difference! We come to expect quality in Holiday Inn Express rooms and food. But the employees were simply outstanding. Accommodating and helpful. I suffered a heart attack on this, our 50th anniversary trip. But they bent over backwards on a Labor Day weekend to help us through our crisis. We will definitely re-attempt our trip and next time, we will again choose this location and hopefully get to stay the entire trip. Thank you for your help and kindness."
