The housekeeping staff at the hotel is great! Even though we just stayed only 2 nights the staff made sure she changed the toiletries and clean the room and made the bed for us even though we did not explicitly ask for it. The hotel was clean, staff is very friendly and the indoor waterpark and arcade gaming area were great additions for the kids and adults both! I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here if i travel to Mackinaw city again!

This room was amazing! The nicest that my kids have ever seen before. Booking through Expedia helped make it greatly affordable. The front desk was very helpful and the hotel itself was clean. The waterpark was a huge perk and the fact that you could go to the other waterpark down the road also made it even more fun for the kids.

The property and its amenities need a lot of maintenance, a deep cleaning and some work. Things like hot water and the in room appliances worked but overall the property, including the waterpark, is dated and dinghy if not dirty.

Bring socks you don’t care about. The floor in our room was grimy. The room itself was cool, having the bedroom and extra beds was nice. I hope they fix the bathroom door though, it was hard to close because it scraped on the floor.

The hotel is not well maintained and there does not seem to be any urgency to picking up garbage from around the hotels vicinity. The interior is extremely outdated and needs a lot of love. We didn't see a single staff member except for a front desk person. The outdoor pool is a great idea but definitely needs work and requires a good cleaning. You can't see the bottom of the pool. The best part is the location to restaurants, shops, and beach.

When I arrived I had to wait about 15 minutes before a staff member came to the desk. Once we finally found the room it wasnt cleaned as it should have been. My feet were black on the bottom from walking around the room. There were no coffee cups. The shower did not work and there was a used bar of soap on the tub. It was not easy to find a parking spot as they were very busy. The staff was friendly. The water park was filthy and appeared as if it wasn't maintained. The pool hours at most other hotels are until 11pm they close at 10pm but I did not see the hours posted anywhere.

The rooms were very outdated, dirty, our room was never cleaned the whole 4 days we were there even when we requested for it. The pool and hot tub were very cloudy, people were going in the pool fully clothed. Staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly but that was pry the only good thing about the place.

Dingy, dirty, hot. room smelt like a mix of sweat and chlorine. Given a room right above the water park. Very outdated. No breakfast provided even though booking said breakfast. Waterpark is grimey. outdoor pool aging and murky water. Said beach access right across the street but its not. Location is convenient in the main downtown area. Overall not worth the money and lots of false advertising. Not even remotely close to the experience I thought we had booked

We absolutely loved our stay! Our suite was incredibly spacious and offered plenty of room for our entire family to feel comfortable. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which truly makes a difference. This hotel is one of our favorites in Mackinaw City, and we happily return about twice a year.

the hallway’s, stairs , and elevator was filthy they all needed to be vacuumed. My balcony screen door wasn’t functional if I wanted to keep my balcony door opened I couldn’t because the screen was ripped wide open! our linens had stains everywhere! this is why I bring my own blankets and pillows. the room door kept banging every time people would go up and sown the stairs. on a positive note the staff was very friendly.

My grandson went into the restroom in the pool area. The owner/maintenance guy finally came and was rude and blamed my grandson. After 4( minutes they finally drilled out the lock and got him out. He is ten years old and was terrified. If that is how they handle situations I am glad it wasn’t more serious and I don’t need to stay there. On the other end the lady working the desk at check in and check out was very nice.

We went to Mackinaw last week (July 22-25th) and stayed at the Crowne Choice Inn and Suites Lakeview and Water park. I admit we got an awesome deal for the hotel and I was excited to bring my family. My 14 and 12 year old daughters, my 8 year old son and my husband and I. We were barely at the hotel other than to sleep and take showers. When we arrived the TV was broke in the room that my daughters shared (the leg holding the TV was broke) but I didn't think nothing of it and we went about our days. My daughter also started her monthly and leaked a little on the bed, I promise we tried to get it out and it wasn't that bad. They charged us $250 saying we trashed the room!! I called and was told I couldn't talk to the manager and that I needed to talk to the Mackinaw Visitor Center instead. . According to them the sheets were totally ruined and we had broken the TV. Both were not true! They are refusing to give us the $250 back. The water park wasn't too bad but the hot tub had broken stones in the corners and edges which made it uncomfortable to walk across it. We just wanted to make people aware to stay clear of this hotel so you don't get ripped off too.
