The boathouses were clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. We only stayed one night. The swing seats on the deck next to the pool was a nice feature. The continental breakfast was really good. Small selection but well thought.
The place is a bit tucked in with Northerlies just next door for food and drinks (pub style food).
Things to be mindful of when booking
*midgies in the evenings
*Parking is open air and a little away from the accomodation (not right outside your door)
*not flat - lots of steps

This resort is brilliant for relaxing. Only 20 adults on site at any time, which provides a great ambience and chilled vibe. The transfers are magical - we chose the helicopter in, and the boat out. The food was terrific and the accommodation very good with great views.
The resort is highly recommended!

Our stay was just ok. The trash was still full and in the kitchen from the previous guest, there were dead roaches, there were dirty popsicle sticks by the pool. The coffee machine didn’t work either. A staff member did drop a different one by after I let them know. We also had the doorbell ring at 2am and wake everyone in the house… apparently this is common when the batteries run low? Seems like they should be routinely changed to prevent that from occurring. None of these issues are big, but combined are quite a few blunders considering we paid top dollar to stay here.

Mirage has excellent location, right above the water, with a walkway to get to Airlie beach and the marina. It also has a bus stop just down the road to get to Airlie beach or any other location. The apartment was huge with sweeping views of the water. The only negative for me was the bed, which was too soft but that is individual preference. The buffet breakfast was sufficient, however if you wanted real coffee you had to purchase from the bar, otherwise just instant coffee. Generally, buffet breakfast has at least percolated coffee included.
The resort is well maintained, and beautiful. There are two pools, one of them adults only which is a nice option for those who prefer a quiet time.
