Eco Hacienda Roman

2.5 star property
Machu Picchu
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1)
"I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!! The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal...

Andean Wings Valley

4.5 star property
Urubamba
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (12)
"This is a great place to relax and get acclimated to the high altitudes before going to Machupichuu or returning to Cusco. We stayed here for a night. The food at the restaurant is not local peruvian cuisine, but is not something to miss bcause it was really delicious. They also have a bar where you can order some nice cocktails. We had a short but wonderful stay here."
