"From start to finish, this was one of the best rental experiences I've ever had, and one of the loveliest and most comfortable homes. My family and I stayed here for the long weekend to celebrate my dad's 85th birthday. The house was beautiful and spacious with plenty of room and sleeping spaces (there were 7 of us). There was everything we needed to be able to cook and share meals together, and explore, and relax. The view from the deck, and most of the house, was absolutely stunning. The hosts were communicative, helpful, and gracious. My whole family loved our stay, had an amazing time, and would want to come back here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so, so much for sharing such a special place with us!!"

"I really loved the location. It was central to all I wanted to do and see, and there were great local restaurants. What I didn’t like was that the cleaning staff for my room was subpar. Trash was emptied, thats it. No beds were remade or cleaning was done that was evident. When the bed was “remade”(one time)the covers were thrown over the bed and covered the pillows, a very hasty job to say the least. But all in all I did have a fantastic time."

"Lodging was not cleaned prior to my arrival. Bed was unmade, garbage was full in bathroom and kitchen, used bath towels left in bathroom. Patio door deadbolt was stuck and did not lock and was therefore unsecured for duration of stay. No shampoo or body wash provided. Smoke alarms were low on batteries and let out a loud, shrill shriek every 45 seconds for duration of stay, including the one in the living room on the lofted ceiling out of reach. I was awoken at 3 am to the smoke alarm in my bedroom yelling at me to change the batteries. When I did so, the chirps did not stop in the living room. It's a shame because otherwise, the cabin was adorable and in a gorgeous location. Based on the lack of amenities and cleanliness, it did not feel worth the price."

"We just spent two weeks at this beautiful property with an amazing view. The beds were very warm and comfortable. The accommodations were as noted and perfect! Supplied us with enough toilet paper and paper towels, and trash bags and laundry detergent and dishwashing pods linens were of excellent quality heated floor in the downstairs bathroom was a nice surprise. This was our second time staying at this property book it, and you won’t be disappointed."

"The location was perfect! The house was very comfortable and being directly on the lake was a real treat. It was great to have access to a dock and kayak. We definitely missed that the second bedroom was an outside bunk house, but there was plenty of extra bedding to sleep on the couch! Very much appreciated the personal, homey details at the property."

"Absolutely wonderful! Property was amazing! View was amazing! All the info from the host was amazing! It didn’t hurt that we had perfect Maine weather either!Only note, bathroom is on the first floor and bedrooms are on the second floor. I did not notice that prior to our stay.Thank you! Would LOVE to come back any time!!"
