Quiet and serene cabin had all the amenities and was beyond beautiful, very clean, outside porch chairs to watch the beautiful view of the sunset. Mary Jane was an awesome and friendly host. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
It was perfect for our short little stop! It was clean and perfect space for us! The views were breathtaking! The pizza recommendation was so good! We had a great time!
The property was well taken care of and perfect for anyone who enjoys being outdoors with convient access to the main road. Mary was extremely friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
Quiet spot, very clean and has an amazing view of the lake. MaryJane the host is super nice and there if you need anything. Will definitely stay here again!
The cabin is well-stocked and tidy. Mary Jane is a kind and thoughtful host. The lake is a dream—definitely bring water shoes! We want to return for another trip!
The lake was beautiful but unable to use because of time of year. Just being able to enjoy the view enhanced our stay. The bedroom was tight, but the actual bed was very nice. Location was great. We were able to access many activities and supplies within 20 minutes. Absolutely recommend.
This small cabin on Lake Gardner is just as advertised - a cozy cabin. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The bedroom is small but we slept the best we have for our whole trip. It’s nothing fancy, but a great base camp to explore this area of Maine. I would recommend.
Cabin right on the page was perfect. Lake is gorgeous. View is 180. Beautiful deck and furniture. Cabin is updated and lovely. Kitchen is nicely sized and very well furnished. Bathroom is also nicely sized and very nice. Living room is very comfortable, well sized, lots of windows, good tv... all good. Bedroom is small but very workable, bed is very comfortable. Host was very nice.
Host is amazing. Location is phenomenal and the porch is to die for. If you are planning to cook I would bring your own pans and if you have 4 people and want to eat inside you might need to be flexible/creative with seating. Place felt very clean and I have a high standard. Would recommend and would book again.
This cottage was just perfect for a quiet getaway. It was very clean and comfortable. Mary Jane was the best. Anything we needed was taken care of immediately. Close to Acadia National Park (2 hrs). Lubec and Eastport are just 30 minutes away. We would come back again
The property was exactly as the post described. It's right on the water (and the water is relatively shallow in front of the property so great to dip your feet in or go out into deeper water!). It offers a beautiful view of the sunset. The cottage has all the toiletries you might need as well as kitchen ware. We were able to cook and and grill without a problem. It does share the pier with the cottage right next door so if you're looking for a completely private getaway, you may want to look elsewhere. It's simple but very quaint inside and Mary was kind and is very informed about the area and gave great suggestions for places to go. We would definitely stay here again!
Everything was great. Our guest was so accommodating. The location was perfect as it was close to family and where we had spent our summers as children.
