"This property is not what is shows at the time of booking. The gravel road is so eroded that even an SUV is not near capable of reaching the property. The place has not bathroom and no hot water. The place has limited cold water too. No potable water and you will be stuck in the place at night since the owner is not helpful. "This was a great place to stay to get away from it all on Maine’s Bold Coast. The house was simple and clean with can’t beat views of the ocean from a wall of windows in the main living area. There is a nice private small lawn in the back. Though the piece of small coast just down the steps is rocky, there is a very nice sandy (at lower tide) beach a minute drive down the road. Jonesport is quiet but a good base to explore surrounding natural areas, hiking."

"Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...
