"We had a fantastic stay, the cottage is in a great location with the added bonus of private parking, the cottage is beautifully presented and has everything you could possibly need, it is very spacious but with a cosy feel, beautiful cottage in beautiful Salcombe, we will definitely return again."

"Waited quite awhile for the parking barrier to be lifted to allow access to the parking. There were a number of steps up to the entrance of the hotel. Difficult with heavy cases. Room was a good size, however the shower head was in need of a descale and the drainage in the bath needed to be looked at. In the mini bar there was an open bottle of tonic. On the whole the staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was great, but the evening meal was a bit of a let down. The shuttle bus was a godsend! What real spoiled the holiday was that the jacuzzi wasn’t working!"

"A large property in a beautiful location with enough bedroom space for 9 people with smaller family members in the bunk bed. Anybody with physical disabilities will find the many steps down to the beach difficult but perfect for a family with teenagers. Pros - The views are sensational and it is in a quiet, peaceful area. A fantastic garden with lots of space for dining, games and sunbathing (although no sun loungers) and good ability to keep on top of washing in utility room. Very short distance to the local beautiful beaches. A good beach cafe, farm shop and cafe and toilets close by. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking implements, we were glad we bought a huge saucepan to be able to cook for 9. A large fridge freezer was also very welcome. The kids loved the quirky layout of the house. This was a good family holiday with lots of beach fun with doggy in tow. Would highly recommend a trip to the pebble beach in Beesands and a meal at the cricket Inn. No smart TV was actually a good thing here and kept teenagers off devices.Cons - The property wasn’t particularly clean on arrival, dirty mugs under bed, a large amount of cobwebs and floors with lots of sand on. There were not enough instructions for appliances e.g. downstairs shower (has a booster in the kitchen cupboard) and the induction hob had to be googled. There were a few things that were not working quite correctly, the dishwasher doesn’t sit properly within the kitchen unit, the cooker door is unreliable an"

"We had the most wonderful week at Bay View. It had everything you could want in a 5 Star luxury accommodation but also felt so comfortable and relaxed.The views from the extensive balcony area were completely breathtaking and the balcony furniture was fabulous! The position of the house was perfect for a week in Salcombe. You could easily explore everywhere on foot (or walk to the ferry) and to go further afield (by car) was easy too.We had a wonderful and very special family holiday at Bay View and made sunny Salcombe memories to treasure.We would love to go again one day - it was magnificent!"

"Exactly as what in the description but the view surpassed our expectation. You have everything you need in the property. The beach is few minutes away. You can have a nice walk or boat ride going to town center. Penny responds to every enquiry and very helpful. Highly recommended."

"We had a wonderful stay here. It was warm and cozy and tastefully furnished. It’s a great location to explore Salcombe and surrounding towns. The cottage is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. The views from the windows are breathtaking and I loved sitting at the window seat admiring the stunning vista and colours of nature."
