"My stay at this hostel was fantastic! Highly recommend. I booked a private room and it was perfectly spotless, felt quite clean, was well designed and felt like a boutique hotel. "Fabulous place!! The people here are so helpful and friendly! Well, it is Sri Lanka after all!! "We really enjoyed our stay in the lagoon paradise resort and even decided to stay one day longer than initially planned. You can enjoy the breakfast (as well as dinner) in the nice beach restaurant with a great view. We booked a cabana which was located near the swimming pool. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody who visits Tangalle! Special thanks also to the staff (especially Weerasena & Thisara) who were more than welcoming."

"The Moose is such a special place! The host Ashan is a wonderful man. I felt so welcomed and safe and taken care of my whole stay. Room was big, immaculately clean, hot shower. Owner was also always on hand for questions and helped out with taxis etc. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Was sad to leave. "

"Very nice staff and clean rooms as well as all amenities. Nice location with a great view though you have to keep in mind that from the street you will have to take a very nice but quit slow kind of funicular through their absolutely stunningky beautiful "vertical" garden. You can entertain yourself by watching the many monkeys in the area but dont leave any belongings on the balcony as the monkeys might take it. It adds fun and a bit of adventure to your stay. Reception and overall staff are exeptional. Both pools and other amenities are very well kept and clean. Highly recommend staying there if you like comfort, view and cleanliness. Will come again"
