"Mixed feelings about this stay. Positives: the hotel has good parking, we’re very accommodating of my late arrival, is nicely presented, my room was well appointed, breakfast was very good quality and a nice selection and very nice to offer 4 time slots to choose for your convenience. Negatives: my room was facing the main road which was busy throughout the nice and disturbing despite ear plugs - needs triple glazing installed, room was hot but couldn’t open windows as would have made the road...

"Stayed for one night as a little stop over on way to Cornwall with our young Labrador. The hotel is really lovely and super dog friendly with welcome treats and a little pup pack of goodies in the room. The staff made such a fuss of Zoey dog. Really lovely people. We took a 5 minute stroll into the village for a walk and dinner at a pub. The location is perfect. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the bar terrace but there were no noise issues. Next morning I took advantage of the hotel...
