Patio with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Large lawned garden (shared). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a pond in the garden, 40 yards away.. In the grounds of the owner’s home, this detached, well-presented holiday cottage is situated in Uplyme, on the outskirts of the popular World Heritage Jurassic Coastal seaside resort of Lyme Regis, with its picturesque cobb and harbour. The quaint resort offers a traditional coastal town with fishing, swimming, boating, fossil hunting and scenic coastal walking along this beautiful coastline, and within easy driving there are many attractions to visit and enjoy. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Just Perfect-Peaceful with Wildlife
The lodge was exactly as described. Surrounded by a large green garden and woodland and hedgerow. It is off the beaten track but this made it perfect for a quiet getaway. Waking in the morning to see a deer grazing was an absolute treat. Also got visited by a Pheasant as well as a very healthy looking fox!! A previous review mentioned some dodgy Wifi, but after bumping into the lovely owner of the property it got resolved, so absolutely no complaints at all. Did not go there for Wifi anyway! Only a 7 minute drive from Lyme Regis itself, it is a perfect little getaway if you just want to escape for some peace and tranquillity or just as perfect if you want to go exploring. If we are back in the area we would definitely be considering booking it again.
