"The location of the guesthouse was incredible. However if you’re a certain age, as we are, you probably will need a car to get about and access to some fantastic beaches within two or 3 miles Praia da Luz is close for a choose of restaurants and bars there some restaurants and bars close by on the main road, the building, the pool and grounds were beautiful and the room was large enough and clean enough for both of us The outstanding thing for us was the breakfasts. it’s was incredible, the choice of fresh fruit, cold cuts, pastries and cooked food was outstanding."

"The area was beautiful and the staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast buffet that was included was a beautiful area and lots of choice. Our room was darker and more dated than I expected and the drapery that provided the privacy to our room was torn -the outside shutters only went halfway down as well. There were tiny little black type ants in the bathroom and by the front door inside - I am not certain if its just because it was a more tropical area and they all have this."

"Place was in a quiet, relaxing town, and just a short drive to Lagos which is nice. Staff was really welcoming and helpful, plus I was able to see stars in the courtyard/pool area."

"Casa Jacaranda provided our family so many memorable experiences! From the incredible amenities like the pool and hot tub at the house, to the short walk to the beach and incredible restaurants nearby. 10/10 recommend. We absolutely loved it!"

"We loved our stay! The property was beautiful with a great ocean view and the villa was well stocked with essentials. Check in was very easy and we appreciated the accommodations made for us as we arrived quite late due to delayed flights. The town and beach are just a short walk and there were several great options for restaurants in walking distance. The pool was larger than expected and it was a great way to cool off after exploring all day. My only regret is that we were not able to stay longer. I hope to return again soon!"
