Disappointing Experience – Poor Management & Overpriced Food While staying at the Carvi Beach Hotel, we decided to try Luca’s on a recommendation from hotel staff. We arrived at 6:00 PM without a reservation. Alfredo, the manager, told us they were fully booked but said he could seat us if we returned between 8:45 and 9:00 PM. We passed the time on the hotel rooftop, where Marco, the rooftop manager, provided fantastic service. We returned at the agreed-upon time and checked in with Alfredo. Despite the restaurant being half empty, he asked us to wait. For over 20 minutes, Alfredo completely ignored us while sitting at a nearby table drinking wine with other patrons. Eventually, an attentive team member (who seemed to be the assistant manager) noticed us, looked genuinely frustrated by how Alfredo had handled the situation, and seated us right away. Unfortunately, the food was just mediocre and definitely not worth the high prices. While the waiting staff were friendly and hard-working, Alfredo's rude, unprofessional behavior ruined the evening. I’d recommend skipping this place."
