"We were pleasantly surprised with the quiet, laid back beach town Luz. Praia de luz was a very short walk away from the apartment and ended up becoming one of our favourite beaches in the Algarve. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well equipped for our stay. An excellent option close to Lagos but outside the tourist area. "

"It was small dark and no comfortable seating, a shortage of cupboard space for clothes. It was very cold I requested a heater but no response from owner. Probably fine for a couple of days but 2 weeks definitely not. Also feel it is over priced"

"Good location to go to the beach but bedroom below street level very noisy sometimes with cars and people passing by. A little problem with ants. Furniture a bit dated and bed a bit flimsy. Cleaning good all the essentials in kitchen."

"A very clean condo with lots of room and amenities. There was daily service which was a nice surprise! I did think it was weird to have the white leather furniture covered with signs to keep it like that. The condo would look so much better without the covers over the furniture. We just avoided using the living room and sat in the decks instead. We'd still stay here again though!"

"We had a lovely stay throughout February in this sunny and bright apartment. Very clean with all the amenities we needed. The location is central to shopping, the beach, restaurants and public transit. Nathalie was great to communicate with and very helpful."

"We would stay again. Communications were great for checking in and answering any questions. Location is ideal if you want to be close to the beach but far enough away to have some quiet. The private balcony is stunning. Well equipped very clean. Highly recommend."

"The studio apt., part of the main house, is situated in the countryside. It has a small private garden area with access to the larger garden and swimming pool. At the time of our stay the apt.was due for renovation which was held up by covid. The location gives you the benifits of the serenity of the countryside with easy access to various beaches within 15 mins by car. The closest Luz is 5 mins., Lagos is approx 15 mins. The added benifit for us was a 40 mins walk via the coastal path to Luz....

"If you are looking for a rustic retreat, this is it. The setting is beautiful and the views are far-reaching. The pool is an added bonus, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Unfortunately, we were not provided a map or any sort of instruction on how to get to the cottage upon our arrival to the area. Every other apartment or cottage that we rented during our trip to Portugal provided either an address or a map. The owner offered to pick us up and guide us, but unfortunately her car broke down. "This is a quiet resort situated right on the coast. There are no restaurants on site but there is a bar and breakfast can be arranged. Bruno, at the front desk, helped us when we had some maintenance concerns. Anastasia, who served breakfast, was delightful. Only negative was that the double bed was too small and soft. "
