"Clean, cozy, pretty much perfect. Super peaceful and very private. 30ish min drive from Boone and West Jefferson. Had a very restful and relaxing stay at the cabin, and you can’t beat the price for what you get. Just be careful if you’re not familiar w Deep Gap backroads because they’re pretty gnarly if you don’t have an SUV :). "

"We had a great stay! Secluded and quiet. We were there while the restaurant was closed which was unfortunate but probably kept the property from being as busy as it could be. Will definitely consider going back for future trips. We ate dinner in Elkin and Wilkesboro. Great restaurants in both towns and super close to Stone Mountain for a solid day of hiking/site seeing. 100% recommend."

"Cabin was cozy and warm with the nice propane heater. Firepit and grill were great, creek was really nice. Wifi went out a couple times, shower was great, but a bit clunky to use."

"Everything was excellent. The host was very thoughtful and had texted ahead of schedule anticipating our needs based off of the cold weather. The cabin was beautiful; it was well stocked and well maintained. We would stay here again, and several of my friends and family (after seeing pictures of our stay) have asked for the cabin information."

"Cabin was very clean and well appointed. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors seemed very friendly. Cabin was very pet friendly. Only negative was several of the neighbors allow their dogs to roam the neighborhood unattended. All the dogs ended up being friendly but caused concerns at first because our dog is always on a leash."
