Tranquil little spot

After a week of road-tripping, this was a lovely final stay before gunning it back up north on I-81. Tidy and cute, with splendid backyard views of the valley and mountains.

Peaceful Cottage in the Country

The cottage was a little further from town than we anticipated, but we spent most of our time in the park and the caverns; so, it suited us well. The property manager, Ruth, checked on us each day to make sure we had everything we needed. The only little glitch was with the clothes washer when trying to wash with cold water. It turned out the hot and cold selections on the washer were reversed, and we found a work around so everything ended well. The area was very quiet and pleasant to enjoy in the evenings, and we both slept soundly at night.

64 years old and stayed by myself in this Cottage. I felt safe and comfortable enough to go outside and take pictures of the night sky. I also went on adventures of nearby Creeks to look for beautiful rocks. Although Luray Caverns was only 5 Mi away I did not come here to visit the caverns. It was a nice Mountain getaway with beautiful scenic views on my drive there and back. Not just the cottage was a beautiful reminder of my grandmother's home, but a beautiful location to catch misty mornings, awesome sunsets, and visitd by friendly neighborhood cats.
