"It was a beautiful cottage and an overall great stay. The only thing that was a bit of a challenge for us was the stairs leading to the cottage itself. We have some mobility concerns in our group, and because of this the property was a bit difficulty to access. There is no photo of the stairs on the listing, but there is about 6 sets to make your way down. Other than this, everything was great. "We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfy. The room was clean and the view was excellent. We did have a problem with the WiFi for about 4 hrs. It was frustrating for us. We own a business and it was our evening to put in payroll. We got really stressed out. We were afraid we were not going to complete payroll or need to drive into town for Internet. The Internet came back up about 10pm. So, if Internet or TV is important to you, apparently, according to the owner, tourist come into the area and overload the system and Internet goes down. But, if not, it’s a cute place on the water."

"Great location, in the centre of all the action! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room had everything we needed, including the super comfy bed. My only caution: the bathroom door has a push-handle lock. My daughter accidentally locked herself in and couldn't figure out how to unlock the door; luckily, I had a Bobbie pin in my bag and got her out quickly."

"This property is conveniently located to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. This location was great for what we had planned for the area. I stayed in unit #3 which had 2 double beds, small kitchen and nice bathroom. The unit was very clean! Do not hesitate to stay at this property!"

"Lane’s is conveniently located close to the centre of Liverpool within short walking distance to shops and local attractions such as the Trestle Trail and Hell’s Bay Brewing Company and a short drive away from Cosby’s and beautiful beaches. Though a bit dated, the room was clean, comfortable and reflected a historic charm. The grounds offer a park like feel with a chance to watch seals chasing fish on the river. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant didn’t disappoint with a cozy atmosphere, traditional menu and selection of local wines and beers. It was a great choice for a mini weekend escape."
