Cozy place with character.
Excellent location near the main railway and bus station and close to the city center, shops, restaurants etc. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Coffee machine in the lobby.

When I arrived no one was at the front desk. Took about 10 minutes and a phone call for someone to show up. Once I got to my room it was very small

Madelene åt reception is helpful, nice and important she smiles. Comfortable bed, clean room and surroundings. Breakfast had generous selection in both hot and cold choices. Excellent place to stay in Luleå

The room was nice, the area was calm. According to Hotels.com the breakfast was included - There was no breakfast! Myself I have short light blond hair. The bathroom floor had long dark hair on it from a previous guest. NOT NICE!

Convenient. A bit off central parts but just a short walk. The bathroom was very cold. Large room with comfortable bed.

Staff was disinterested and unhelpful. We asked for the hotel to call a taxi for an early departure to the airport, and no taxi showed up. At 3:30 am, there was no one at reception and were only available to someone with a cell phone plan that works in Sweden. We would not go back.

A friendly, convenient, quiet small hotel. It is 120 years old, but completely rennovated.

Hotel is okay for a one night stay. Rooms are small and beds are very basic. As comfortable as one can expect for this hotel. No issues. Check in is very easy. Bathrooms are also acceptable. Good shower heads but very dark in the shower. Not much lighting in the actual shower area. No plug ins beside beds. Not a huge problem but in today's pace of life, it would be welcomed.

Lovely & simple hotel with great customer service
We had a lovely stay here (just one night). Very clean and convenient. I found the bathroom facilities particularly nice and modern with radiant floor heating and an excellent shower (much better than you often find in Europe). The breakfast buffet (included) was exceptional and a lot of care goes into the homemade jams and breads - the whole thing really. Most of all, the lovely gentleman at the front desk made our visit. I am sure I am spelling his name wrong but it is Giralim. He was wonderful!

Convenient and well-run small hotel in a small tow
We came by air & left by train .the aAmber is v near the railway station and is a reasonable distance to the Main Street. We stayed one night on our way north west to Abisko. The Am ber was just what we wanted.

Close to rail Station
Hotel was very handy to the train station, perfect for me as the focus of my trip was the railway voyage, part of a tour which would take me across Russia. I had dinner there which was excellent, very convenient as I arrived later and needed to be up early to catch my next train.

Bra rum, renov. av lobby behövs. Slarv i service.
Rummet är relativt nyrenoverat, fräscht och rent, funktionellt men med onödigt liten dusch - finns plats för större. Bra säng och behagligt linne. Detta rum låg i källaren. De allmänna ytorna är i behov av ett rejält lyft, och man skulle behöva fundera över vad gästerna vill se - öppna dörrar till rum med tvättvagnar och en lobby som känns som professor Kalkyls förråd skulle man kunna undvika att visa upp. Trots att jag vid bokningen bett om att inte få ett rum i källaren fick jag ett sådant - men inte mycket att göra då de sade att det var fullbokat när jag checkade in. Mycket slarvigt och onödigt, drar ner mitt betyg rejält.

Vinterweekend i Luleå
Ett gammalt familjehotell som blivit en del av kedja. Inte riktigt så mysigt som det brukade vara, men bra i sin prisklass. Rummen i källarvåningen är renoverade och fina men temperaturen gick inte riktigt att justera, +25,5 grader var lite väl varmt. Men fick byta rum till andra våningen där det gick att reglera temperaturen. Dock var inte det rummet i så bra skick; svårthanterlig vattenkran och byttesmå handfat - svårt att även borsta tänderna utan att slå huvudet i spegeln. Positivt var att man hade ett bra kylskåp och vattenkokare på rummet för egna kvällsmaten (hotellet har ingen restaurang). Mycket hjälpsam personal och bra frukost lyfter helhelsbilden rejält.

Extremt oprofessionellt bemötande från personalen. Hälsade inte när vi kom, informerade inte om priset, slängde fram ett papper där info där rumsnummer stod. Bedrövligt. I övrigt rent och fräscht.
